3 COUNTRIES MOTORCYCLE TOUR.

Well, with all the Barberton folk on our back for taking the Staffie Rally away. “Ouma” and I (Elna) have decided to start some new projects to get the bikes rumbling back into Barberton. Not exactly a rally but for starters we hope that the Barbertonians will be happy with this event.

*A long week-end biking get-away!

The exact date needs to be finalized.

Dinner, Lunch, Bed and Breakfast inclusive.

This tour will be for road going motorcycles. Our intention is to provide a tour for the folk that ride super bikes as well; hence 99.9% of the rout will be good condition tar road. Choppers, tourers and multi-purpose bikes are also welcome.

The tour will start and end in Barberton so we’ll arrange secure parking for your car and/or trailer while you are on tour. All overnight accommodation will either be at lodges, resorts or hotels with single, twin or double rooms.

Leaving Barberton early we’ll be riding over “Nelshoogte” past Badplaas, Lochil, to the Ngwenya Swazi border post. Once in Swaziland we’ll travel to Manzini where we’ll enjoy lunch. We won’t be able to hang around for long because we still have to pass through Goba border post and travel to Maputo. That evening a special prawn dinner will be served at the famous “Restaurante Costa do Sol”

Sunday morning after breakfast and before leaving we could visit the cathedral and the Old Portuguese fort near the harbor. Thereafter we'll leave and travel through Lebombo Border post where we’ll re-enter into RSA Lunch will be at the ????????????? in ?????????. Then it’s off to Graskop where we’ll settle in at the ????????? and have the traditional old “SoufEfricen braai”

On the last day of the tour we’ll hit the road back via Hazyview, through Nelspruit and back into Barberton for lunch. There after its good-buy to those who are heading home and for the rest who are staying the night there will be time to visit the museum and heritage sights and a last get-together on the Bulembu road overlooking the De Kaap valley for sundowners.

The next day it’s back at work for those who are already home and the rest will be leaving for home.
